INDUSTRIAL DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS & SERVICES LLC. HAVE JUST BEEN AWARDED A CONTRACT with POWERBRIDGE LLC of Fairfield, Connecticut organizing managing implementation of the:

The contract is to provide, install and monitor 24/7 yearly vital machinery with remote Mondigital MEMS vibration sensor with embedded RF transceiver to provide a complete solution including signal processing and communications. This type of programmable device can wake itself up periodically, capture time-domain vibration data, perform a fast Fourier transform (FFT) on the data record, apply user-configurable spectral analysis on the FFT result, offer simple pass/fail results over an efficient wireless transmission, provide access to data and results, and then go back to sleep. New adopters of vibration sensing are finding that quick deployment and the reasonable cost of ownership are good reasons to evaluate fully integrated MEMS devices monitoring System Triaxial Vibration, Temperature and Running Speed sensors. The OnSite system captures vibration data with triaxial accelerometers with integrated temperature sensors. With frequency accuracy of +/-1Hz and 16,384 lines of resolution over a frequency spectrum of 0-2,000 Hz, high quality vibration sensor data can be captured remotely and analyzed to find the root cause of a problem Remotely Capture Triaxial Vibration, Temperature and Running Speed

PowerBridge’s flagship projects are the Neptune Regional Transmission System, completed in 2007, and the Hudson Transmission Project

The Hudson Transmission Project is a 660 MW electric transmission link between New York City and PJM Interconnection that was completed in June of 2013. While its main purpose is to provide a new source of electric power for the New York City customers of the New York Power Authority (NYPA), the Project also provides New York City with access to renewable resources throughout PJM and includes very significant upgrades and reinforcements to the transmission system in New Jersey.

The Neptune Project is a 660-MW (500 kV) high-voltage, direct current (HVDC) submarine electric transmission cable, completed in 2007, that connects power generation resources in the PJM system to electricity consumers on Long Island. The cable extends from the First Energy substation in Sayreville, New Jersey to the Long Island Power Authority Newbridge Road substation in Levittown, Long Island, a distance of 65 miles.
